The National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune is an autonomous Apex Institute Established by RBI & Banks which is registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1860. NIBM is also accredited as a ‘scientific and Industrial Research Organization’ by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. NIBM is also engaged in Research (policy and operations), Training & Education of senior executives of banks. NIBM Pune offers a 2 year full time residential flagship PGDM Program in the field of Banking and Financial Services approved by the AICTE. Based on industry requirements, this course is offered with modules on IFRS, NPA Management, and Business Analytics. NIBM Admission occurs through the merit scored in entrance exams of CAT/XAT/CMAT followed by a Writing Ability Test / Oral Communication Test and Interview. NIBM is the first institute in India to offer a two-year specialisation program in Banking & Finance.

NIBM Pune boasts of having 100% placement since its inception. During NIBM placement 2020-21, recruiters visiting the campus included companies like Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Accenture, ICRA, HDFC Bank, Catholic Syrian Bank, HSBC Bank and many more.
