NL Dalmia Admission

Candidates seeking admission to the institute must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the course. The application process is online and the application form could be obtained from the institute’s website. The selection criteria for each course vary from each other as per the requirements. Following is the selection process for each course: 

• The application fee (single specialization) is INR 2,000, INR 3,000 (for 2 specializations) & INR 4,000 (for all 3 specializations).
• For the PGDM program, admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in one among CAT/XAT/CMAT/MH-CET/GMAT/MAT/ATMA.
• Admission to the Ph.D. program is offered on the basis of the PET score.
• Candidates have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted at the Institute’s level. The final selection is based on the overall profile of the candidate.
• The evaluation is holistic – and not based on test scores alone. The applicant would be evaluated based on the following criteria:
  • Entrance Exam score (Any one of 7 aptitude tests accepted (CAT/XAT/CMAT/MH-CET/GMAT/MAT/ATMA). You can upload scores for more than one if available.

The institute provides scholarships to the students on the basis of merit. Mentioned below are the eligibility criteria and scholarships details for the scholarships provided by the institute:

A. Criteria for Scholarship for First Year students:
Candidate should have secured admission to the PGDM / PGDM (FM) program
Candidate should be in Top 10 students in the final admission list
Candidates having fulfilled conditions 1&2 above and having the following CAT/XAT/CMAT/MH-CET percentiles will have the respective percentage of Scholarships offered for First Year PGDM/PGDM(FM)

B. Criteria for Scholarship for Second Year students:
Scholarship for second year students will be conferred to the 10 Toppers of First year in combined merit list (Trimester I, II&III) of all students of PGDM/PGDM(FM) as per the average CGPA of all Trimesters taken together with the minimum combined average CGPA
of 9.8 will get 25% scholarship.

Ques. What is Online Selection Process?

Ans. The applicant will be evaluated on various criteria through ‘live video call’ using online platforms like Google Duo or Zoom. Mentioned below are the details for the same:

1. The applicant need not come to the institute for a face to face interview.
2. Panelists will be stationed at the institute while the applicants can be in the comfort of their homes.
3. The applicant requires a smartphone/ laptop/ PC with an inbuilt camera and an internet connection at his/ her place.
4. He/ She needs to download online platforms like Google Duo or Zoom in their Smartphone/ PC/ Laptop.
5. The applicant has to ensure that he/ she is alone and in a noise-free environment.
6. The applicant will be evaluated and marked online.

Ques. How should I apply for Online Selection Process?

Ans. Fill the online application form for PGDM available on the website. Candidates can select the date and time for the Online Selection Process, which will be declared on 15th April 2020 at 5 PM on the official website of the institute.

Ques. How will the Online Personal Interview be conducted?

Ans. Online Personal Interview would be a live video call:

• Each applicant would be interviewed online by the expert panel using online platforms like Google Duo or Zoom.
• The applicant will give an interview from his residence using his laptop/ PC/ smartphone.
• On the day of the online PI, the applicant should be ready 15 mins before his/ her selected time.

Ques. What is the online General Discussion? How will it be conducted?

Ans. Online General Discussion can include a situational analysis/ caselet/ current affair topic. An applicant would be given a topic on current affairs or a situation to analyze or a caselet by the panelist on which he/she will express his/her views with the help of online platforms like Google Duo or Zoom for 5 mins. This would be a separate live video call on the same day and the same time slot you have selected.

Ques. Where should I upload the documents?

Ans. The applicant can upload all the required documents while filling the application form online. Failing which, the application will be rejected.
