LBSIM Scholarships

LBSIM awards the scholarship to the First- and Second-year students enrolled in PGDM and PGDM (Finance). Institute appoints a dedicated team of faculty who decides the awardee of Scholarship.

LBSIM awards four types of scholarships which are given as:

• Smt. Lalita Shastri Scholarship- Only for 04 students
• Amit Chopra Scholarship- Only for 01 students
• Manju Chopra Scholarship- Only for 01 student
• Tessy Thomas Scholarship- Only for 01 student

Who can avail the Scholarship?

The above Scholarships are awarded on Merit-cum-Need basis. Those students who have performed really well in academics and are financially weak can apply for the Scholarship.

How to avail the Scholarship?

Desirous students must contact the administration or official authority of the Institute to apply for the scholarships. Based on the applications, a panel of faculty will have discussions with the students and recommend the name of students for the award of scholarship to the director of LBSIM. The decision of granting scholarships by the Director of the LBSIM and panel will be full and final.

Ques. Are Hostel facilities available at LBSIM?

Ans. Yes, LBSIM provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Students have to pay INR 1,65,000 per year as hostel fees. The hostels are located within a 3 Km radius from the College and also provide transportation arrangements for hoteliers.

Ques. Is it necessary for everyone to undergo Summer Internship at LBSIM?

Ans. Yes, it is compulsory for management students to undergo summer internship after the third trimester as it is a part of course curriculum. Apart from this, students will get exposure to enhance their practical skills which they learned during their management courses.

Ques. What are the extracurricular activities and Forums available for the students at LBSIM?

Ans. The management Grid of the Institute conducts various activities like- Summits and Symposia, Guest Lecture, Workshops and Presentation, Sports events, Social Service, Cultural and Management festivals. It also organizes TATVA, a fest where pan India participation can be seen from IIT-D, IIM-B, NSIT, IMI, BITS-Pilani, IPU etc.
