Jamia Millia Islamia University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and PhD courses in a wide range of disciplines including Arts, Science, Commerce, Hospitality, Technology, Management, Architecture, Education, Polytechnic and many others. Besides its Nine faculties, the Jamia has a number of centres of learning and research, like AJK-Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC), Academy of International Studies etc.

From the academic year 2022, the university will offer admission on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to 10 undergraduate courses. Admission to B.Tech and B.Arch courses are offered through JEE Mains score. For all other courses, JMI conducts its own entrance test, along with an interview (for some courses).

JMI is Highly Ranked and well-known for its 100% placement rate in all programs and courses. Jamia Millia Islamia University will offer several new courses from the academic session 2022.

Jamia Millia Islamia University begins its admission process in the month of April every year, generally. A wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, and certificate programs are offered by the university in a number of streams. Admission to Jamia Millia Islamia is based on performance on an entrance exam.For admission to all courses, the university administers its own entrance examination.

 How To Apply?

  • Step 1.Visit the official website of JMI and enter your credentials.
  • Step 2.Click on the “My Application” section and then under that select “Add Course”.
  • Step 3.Fill in your academic details under “ Applicant Details” and save.
  • Step 4.Choose the test centre as per your convenience from the drop-down menu.
  • Step 5.Upload your documents like the scanned images of passport size photographs and signature as per the specifications.
  • Step 6.Complete the application submission by paying the application form fee.

There is an application fee of INR 700 for the faculties AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Centre for Management Studies, Centre for Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics (Except B.Arch.), Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering & Technology (Except B.Tech.), Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Law.

  • For all other Faculties/Centres or B.Tech. or B.Arch., there is an application fee of INR 550.
  • The application fee can be paid both online and offline.
