Jain Deemed to be University, previously known as Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC) was established in 1990. The university is popular for its MBA course in Finance and Marketing streams. The total fee for the MBA program is INR 9.9 lakhs. The university offers 33 undergraduate and 45 postgraduate courses under 25 departments. The university has received the NAAC rating of A++ grade in 2022 with a CGPA of 3.71. Jain University Admissions to all the UG and PG courses are based on Jain Entrance Test (JET) conducted by the university. The university conducts the JET exam in two phases. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission at UG courses is 10+2 with 45% marks. For MBA and other PG courses, admission is based on Bachelor’s degree followed by JET score and PI round.

In a room, 2 inmates with attached bathroom & hostel provide a cot, a mattress, one set of bedsheets and a pillow cover, a study table, a chair and a cupboard for each student. Every hostel has a solar-heated water facility, common water cooler, common TV room, etc. Room furniture and electric fittings are required to be maintained by the inmates in good condition. At the time of allotment of room and leaving the hostel for the summer vacation, every student must take-over and hand-over, respectively, the hostel property carefully.
