IIM Banglore MBA Admission 2023 has begun with CAT registration. IIM Bangalore is accepting Applications for PhD and EMBA Program. The last date to apply for the same is December 12, 2022 and December 2, 2022 respectively. IIM Bangalore considers CAT score for MBA Admission and the candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria and meeting the minimum cutoff standards get an admission call for MBA Admission. As per the IIM Bangalore MBA Admission Policy 2022, the minimum cutoff required for admission is 85 percentile but the actual cutoff for IIM Bangalore stays somewhere around 99 percentile CAT Score. Further, candidates getting admission calls from IIM Bangalore need to appear for WAT and PI. IIM Bangalore offers Master of Management Studies in Public Policy – MMS (PP), one year regular course that focuses on strengthening the public policy and managerial skills of future leaders and professionals from the civil services and private sectors.

IIM Bangalore PGPPM Selection Criteria

  • Applicants will be shortlisted for the personal interview based on their
    • CAT / GMAT / GRE / IIMB Test score, as chosen by the candidate

    • Duration of work experience
    • Interest in public systems
  • Shortlisted candidates will be given a “case analysis” on the day of the interview. 
  • The process of selection to the programme takes into account the individual academic background of each candidate, aptitude, interest in and suitability to the MMS. 
  • As part of the process, the interview panel seeks to learn about each applicant's;
    • goals, 
    • interest in getting engaged with public Systems, 
    • familiarity with developments in India and in the world
    • that would be considered important and relevant for a policy professional. 
  • A multi-factor model is used for selection of candidates. 
  • These factors include academic score, admission test scores, quality of work experience, performance in the interview and writing ability test. 
  • A composite total score will be calculated for each applicant using the multi-factor model and a merit list will be prepared
  • The offer of admission will be made to applicants in the merit list depending upon the availability of seats
