Dr. DY Patil University offers UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate and Research courses in various fields of Architecture, Engineering, Management, Medicine, and many more. The University was founded in 2002 and is a deemed university. Dr. DY Patil University has two campuses - one in Pune and the other at Navi Mumbai.

Candidates applying for admission to MBBS, BAMS, BPT and BDS courses should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with at least 50% marks.
MBBS candidates should also have to undergo one year of compulsory rotating internship. Six months internship is compulsory for BPT course.
Valid NEET UG score card is required for selection to MBBS, BAMS, BPT and BDS courses.

DY Patil University offers MD, MS, MDS courses at PG level in various disciplines.
Minimum eligibility for MD ad MS is MBBS course from a MCI recognized institute with a compulsory one year Rotatory internship.
Aspirants for MDS courses should have passed BDS with 50% marks. Selections to PG courses are done on the basis of NEET PG.
For Ayurveda courses candidates applying should have passed BAMS with at least 50% marks.

Dr DY Patil University Scholarship

In Biotechnology courses, candidates securing highest mark in each semester examinations will be awarded with merit scholarship of INR 1000 per month for the next semester.

Dr. D. Y. Patil Merit Cum Means Scholarship:

Candidates selected for admission to BPT program will be considered for award of this scholarship. The scholarship is available to the candidates, who qualify for admission on the basis of their NEET examination merit. In addition to this annual income of candidate’s parents must not exceed INR 60,000.If Dr. D.Y.Patil Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is granted to a candidate he will be exempted from payment of tuition fees. 7% scholarship seats are reserved for candidates who have done education til HSC from Government School.

Placement

After the 6th semester, students can get jobs in the hospitals but if you are from the RIT department you can get a job in the 2nd year. The highest package in my course was 12 lakh per annum and the lowest is 3 lakh per anum. Almost 90% students get the placements which are why dy Patil is so good. I will pursue a masters degree after my bachelor's from the same college.
